Shawnee State is hosting an event at Michael's Ice Cream on Thursday, December 19th from 3:30-6:00 pm. Any high school student and their families are welcome to attend to get more information about Shawnee State. SSU will purchase an ice cream for any student that attends the event.
This is an open lab for parents/guardians and students to complete the FAFSA.

Thanksgiving Break is November 27th-December 2nd. Students will return to school on Tuesday, December 3rd.

The JHS Osky Wow staff will be distributing the 2024 Yearbook on Monday August 5th from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm in the high school commons. Any 2024 graduate or current JHS student who ordered a 2024 Yearbook can pick it up at that time.
Reminder Open House and Freshman orientation will be next Monday at 6:00 pm.

The Jackson City Board of Education regular meeting for June will be hold on Tuesday June 25, 2024 at 6:00pm. The meeting will take place in room 110 of Jackson High School.

Parents will also be in the cafeteria at lunch selling tickets on April 23rd and 26th.
On May 14th, Holzer will be offering free sports physicals for any student who needs one for next school year. Physicals will take place from 1:00-4:00, and students will be called out of class by grade level to get physicals. If you are getting a physical, you need to complete and sign a permission form. Forms are located on the counter in the high school office. You also need to print off and bring the Final Forms physical form with you to the physical that day.
