Spelling Bee Winners

The Jackson City Schools held the annual District Spelling Bee recently.  The top three spellers were awarded gift cards from WesBanco and the top five were given trophies donated by Superintendent, Phil Howard and Assistant Superintendent, Joe Hemsley.  This year’s Pronouncer was Candice Weddington.  The Judges were:  Jenna Francis, Sarah Potts, and Alexandra Ellsesser and the Recording Secretary was Jill Baldwin.  Special thanks to all these people for making the bee a great event.  The top five spellers (from RT to LT) are:  Aidan Rippeth (1st Place), Tayler Williams (2nd Place), Bodhi Wolford (3rd Place), Drew Neff (4th Place), and Tucker Williams (5th Place).

Adena Family Medicine – Ironmen Clinic

Adena Family Medicine – Ironmen Clinic

Jackson City Schools and Adena Health System have partnered to provide primary care services conveniently located at the Jackson Middle School.  The Adena Family Medicine-Ironmen Clinic will be opening on Monday, April 1st 2019.  Adena’s Certified Nurse Practitioners will be there to care for both students and staff.
