JHSuccess+ exists to encourage Jackson High School students to excel in academics, attendance, and good behavior by providing incentives that are challenging but achievable.

Our primary objectives are to reward students at Jackson High School for their increased efforts toward academic excellence, to give them continuous support for good behavior, and to offer them incentives that encourage their commitment to school attendance. Our goals for the 2008-2009 school year are to increase the percentage of the student population at Jackson High School and to increase students' knowledge of their importance of practicing good behavior indicated by fewer discipline referrals.

Students with suspensions, expulsions, arrest by law enforcement, or other serious student handbook violations will be ineligible.
Students must meet the Discipline Component in order to qualify for the Attendance Component.

Historically, attendance has shown a steady increase since the inception of the JHSuccess+ program in 2002. The rate of attendance at the time was 90.14%. During the 2007-2008 school year the rate of attendance had increased to 93.6%. We feel the increase shows that the program does work.

With the support of our Corporate Sponsors, we are able to give away prizes to encourage and recognize the good efforts of our student body.
